PalmettoNet leases capacity to all prominent telecommunications carriers providing intrastate, interchange service in South Carolina. The network is maintained by over 100 fully trained field support professionals plus dozens of technical engineers located throughout the Carolinas. Reliability is one of the cornerstones at PalmettoNet.

The Customer Service Center (CSC) is a state of the art facility manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week monitoring over 80 points of presence throughout South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. The technical staff provides PalmettoNet customers with over a century of telecommunications experience.

PalmettoNet can expedite customer DS1 and DS3 service in three days, however, the normal turn-up period is just 10 working days. PalmettoNet also provides DS3 multiplexing.

Since most of the PalmettoNet network is DWDM (Dense Wave Dimension Multiplexing), PalmettoNet can provide the full gamut of OC (x) level services within 30 days or less. Utilizing OC48 line switched rings over 95% of our network this equipment provides customers with true route diversity and automatic route switching under 50 milliseconds. We provide South Carolina with a full range of reliable communication capabilities including access to the global information highways.
